• Launched in 1993 (first 2 lines) and expanded in 1997  (2 additional lines)
• Besides char, the plant produces and sells heat energy as well as specialized coal – FeSi Coal
• The infrastructure of the plant includes repair and  maintenance of facilities,  storage areas and screening plants
• Nominal production capacity is 100 000 ton of char per year
• Steam production: 14 t/h per line  (10 bar, 215°C)
